What did you do this past week?

This past week was a bit chaotic. I had a lot of work and projects to do. I had a midterm to do the Monday classes started up again which was pretty stressful. However, once I got some rest, I was able to finish the week a bit better.

What’s in your way?

The main thing in my way is just getting back on schedule. It’s been tough to get back on schedule since spring break. I also moved, so I am having to adjust my schedule as it takes me much longer to get to campus.

What will you do next week?

Next week will be starting on a new set of projects. I will also continue applying for jobs for after I graduate. I am going through the interview process with some companies as well so hopefully, I hear back from them to continue the process.

If you read it, what did you think of the Interface Segregation Principle?

It reinforces a lot of what we have been talking about how we need to be careful about dependencies. Definitely something to continually keep in mind during the coding process.

What was your experience of initialization, and vectors? (this question will vary, week to week)

I am familiar with vectors so it was great to get better practice with them. I am also glad we got a second chance on the exercise to get more familiar with both concepts.

What made you happy this week?

I was happy to be back with friends this week. I had some help me move into my new apartment and got lunch with some others. I also had a few friends recently move to Austin to start work here which was awesome. I am excited to get food with them and hang.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to get rest. I did not get much this last week as I was working on various projects and really messed with my concentration. Getting rest is important to actually do good work, so my recommendation would be to make time for rest.
