What did you do this past week?

This past week involved finishing up a lot of projects. I also got to jam out with some of my roommates playing some music. It was quite stressful, but some great things happened to.

What’s in your way?

The biggest thing in my way right is now the cold weather. We have had a few power outages in the apartment complex that I am in so sometimes I cannot get work done.

What will you do next week?

This next week I will be trying to get ahead on the next set of projects that I have to work on. I do not want to have a repeat of last week working on three different projects in a matter of 5 days.

If you read it, what did you think of the Pair Programming?

I think what the article covered in Pair Programming is super important. A lot of people are hesitant to pair program and the article talk about what can be good about pair programming and how beneficial it is. It also talks about how pair programming can not be so good if not approached with the right mentality.

What was your experience of operators, pointers, and references? (this question will vary, week to week)

I used them quite a bit in the 1 hour C++ class a took, though I do need to spend some time to remember some of the details and specific cases involved with them.

What made you happy this week?

I was super happy to play music with my friends this last week. I have4 very few occasions where I get to play music without the pressure of performing well and just getting enjoy it. Getting to do this with my friends was great and we were actually able to sound pretty good towards the end.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week would be to get ahead on work. Even the smallest bit of procrastination can come back to haunt you. I did that working on these last projects and ended up super stressed. It was not a great feeling. I have gotten ahead on projects in the past and doing so alleviates a lot of the pressure.
